November is National Caregiver Month, so we are honoring caregivers everywhere this month and always for their selfless and heroic job!
In this episode, I had the honor of speaking with Karen Warner Schueler on Roadmap to Resilient Caregiving. Karen is an executive coach, speaker and author of The Sudden Caregiver: A Roadmap for Resilient Caregiving. After two decades of corporate executive coaching, Karen knows what it means to make changes in your life. She has helped leader evolve strategies to achieve their desire changes, growing their businesses, accelerating their careers, and inspiring their teams towards greatness. When her late husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer out of the blue, Karen instantly joined a silent army of informal, unpaid family caregivers. Like all caregivers who came before her, Karen figured out what she needed to do to support her husband and her family through the journey of his illness. She promised herself that when her caregiving journey came to an end, to honour her husband’s legacy, she would try to create a roadmap for sudden caregivers. Tune in for a treat to our conversation. Karen have a lot of nuggets to share. For more information, check out her set at: https://www.thesuddencaregiver.com
